Students interested in the guaranteed apartment living option will be placed in furnished one or two bedroom apartments based on their prefence and availability. The Brookside Apartments are located in the foothills of Pleasant Hill and within short walking distance to IEC and DVC, the Sun Valley shopping mall, supermarkets, bus transportation, restaurants, and much more. This setting and living environment is ideal for new students interested in living with other international students, making new friends, and sharing the experiences of continuing their education in the U.S.

security deposits are ONE TIME REFUNDABLE fees which will be returned at the end of the lease unless students are found liable for damages
prices are subject to change
fees do not include water, electricity, garbage, cable, or internet connection
renter’s insurance must be purchased separately if desired

Additional Requirements

You must be at least 18 years old.
You must be accepted to IEC or DVC.
You must complete the required documents needed to secure an apartment at least 2 months in advance and understand that the placement is based on availability.
Upon arrival, you must sign lease agreement and live in Brookside for at least 12 months.
Deposits are due NO LATER than 1 month prior to the move in date.

Note: Students are required to be a minimum of 18 years old and occupy the apartment for a minimum of three months.

Send the completed Guaranteed Apartment Application and a $300 placement fee to the attention of Brianna Webb.
Once your completed documents have been received, you will be contacted via email with further necessary documents that will need to be completed, and the placement process will begin.
