Medical Insurance at IEC is $160 per session. Payment is due the first Thursday of a new session. Once students pay the medical insurance fee a medical insurance card will be mailed to their U.S. address within 2-3 weeks. If students need to visit the doctor BEFORE receiving their medical insurance card IEC can provide students with temporary medical cards upon request.

What to do if your doctor prescribes medication
If a doctor prescribes medication to you, you will need to take the prescription to the local pharmacy to have it “filled” and pay for it. When you go to the pharmacy make sure to take the Medco claim form with you. Download here. Medco is the company that processes your prescription claims and then sends you back the money you paid for your medicine.
Read the instructions on the claim form and write in your information. The pharmacist will need to complete the bottom portion. Attached your prescription receipts to the claim form and mail it to the address indicated:

What to do if you receive a medical bill in the mail
If you have provided your medical ID card to the doctor’s office, your doctor will send the bill to the insurance company for payment.
If you have NOT provided your medical ID card to the doctor’s office, your doctor will send the bill to YOU.
- If you get a bill from the doctor’s office you need to make a copy of it, complete a doctor visit claim form, and send the original bill and claim form to Administrative Concepts Inc right away.

- Administrative Concepts Inc will send you a response of your bill within 4-6 weeks. If you do not get any response, call them to check on the status and to ensure they received your bill.
