Course description of Math 192
- MATH-192 Analytic Geometry and Calculus
- 4 Units LR (letter grade)
- 90 hours Lecture per semester
- Prerequisite: Placement through assessment testing or MATH 191 or equivalent.
- Students will learn the elements of analytic geometry, differentiation and integration of algebraic and transcendental functions with applications. Use of a graphing calculator or a computer algebra system is required. CSU, UC (credit limits may apply to UC-see counselor)

Please submit application to IEC directly. Tuition is due at the time you apply. **Please note: The class may fill BEFORE the application deadline so we encourage you to submit your application and pay the tuition fee as soon as possible.
What is the difference between a regular DVC class and a contract education course?
Regular DVC classes are partly funded (subsidized) by the State of California. Contracted courses, however, are fee-based and are completely paid for by the administrator. That’s the reason why there is a difference in tuition. The other reason is that extra student services will be provided to help students succeed.
